Scott A. Winer is a freelance producer, director, editor and camera operator. Scott is a Telly Award, Davey Award and KAB Award winner as well as a two-time honoree of the Foundation of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
He has worked on television and radio broadcasts of several major sporting events, including the 2008 AFC Championship, 2010, 2009 and 2005 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournaments, 2008 Orange Bowl, and 2002 SEC Football Championship and 2010 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Championship. He has directed nearly 200 live sports, news and music shows since 2000.
Scott earned a B.A. in Geography from The University of Kansas in 2008, where he did a senior research report on the NFL blackout policy using geographic information systems (GIS). He was born in Atlanta and resides in Lawrence.
